Tell us a little bit about your experience in catering?

I've spent most of my career working as a chef in quality restaurants, starting out in London as a commis chef.  After working up the ranks and moving to Yorkshire, I worked as senior sous chef at Lockwood's restaurant in Ripon.

Why did you decide to join Incy Wincy's?

To help promote healthy eating for children, and to give myself a better work-life balance.

What has surprised you the most since working at Incy Wincy's?

I've been surprised by how many varied and different things the children at nursery will eat.

What do you like to cook at home?

Mostly simple dishes but this can vary from a traditional roast dinner to Thai curries.

Rob's top tip...

Use a temperature probe to get the desired degree of cooking on steaks.
